Foley Family Fun

Well, things never seem to work out as planned. After returning home on Wednesday night, June 21st, from Kaitlyn’s volleyball national championships in Orlando, we found our AC not working properly and the pool looking a little green. So in addition to getting the van ready, we also needed to get an repair guy out for the AC and buy chemicals for the pool. This would delay our start time on Friday to 5:00 PM – instead of 10:00 AM.

I spent all day Thursday working on the pool and by Friday morning, it was looking good. Also on Friday morning, the AC repair man came out and had to replace our motor. Things fell into place by late afternoon and we were ready to hit the road to our first stop, Perry, Georgia. Eight and a half hours later we arrived at our hotel around 1:30 AM. A tough day but we made it to where we needed to be and were able to get a decent night’s sleep.
